The Belt and Road Master Program on Intellectual Property was launched in 2017 by cooperation and support from CNIPA and the Ministry of Education of the PRC. This program provides full scholarship for officials of IP authorities and IP practitioners of the BRI partner countries to pursue a master's degree in IP in China. Candidates of the program will be enrolled annually by cooperative Chinese universities. This program aims to help the BRI partner countries to build a pool of IP professionals with international vision and familiar with the modern IP legal system, enhance their practical experience and capability, so as to enhance the capacity building of participating IP Offices and better serve the innovation and development in their respective countries.
